CYPNow Leaving Care Award Finalist 2019

We are absolutely delighted to be shortlisted for the Leaving Care category of the @cypnow awards. There has been lots of hard work to date, much more to do, but a big shout out to project staff and more importantly to the young people who have risen to the challenge and made it the success it is!
The Leaving Care Award:
‘For the initiative that has done the most to help young people leaving the care system make a smooth and successful transition to adulthood by supporting their accommodation, health, housing, and training and employment needs. Judges will be looking for examples where young people have played a key role in planning their independent living.’

This year’s theme, 'Interdependence', shaped every part of the event, highlighting the importance of support, collaboration and strong relationships in helping care-experienced young people thrive.
