Care Leavers National Movement Conference - a great day had by all!
Posted 28th October 2026
On October 15th, a team of our facilitators and care leavers headed to Manchester for the annual Care Leavers National Movement (CLNM) Conference!
Organised and run entirely by young care leavers from House Projects across the UK, this year’s conference focused on a theme close to our hearts: Community.
To celebrate, Cohort 7 designed an interactive stall featuring a game that inspired attendees to think about getting involved in their local communities. We also showcased some of our favourite community memories from this past year—from beach cleans to zoo trips and sailing adventures!
The icing on the cake? Out of all the fantastic entries, our stall took home 3rd place!
We are so proud of our young people for their hard work, creativity, and dedication to building strong community connections. Huge congratulations to Cohort 7 and everyone who took part!
