Facilitators work directly with young people, run regular group sessions and help young people develop positive relationship that enables them to live successfully in their homes.

Hey, I’m Joe – part of the dream team supporting care leavers as they navigate the wild world of independence. My role involves a bit of everything: mentoring, motivating, and occasionally decoding mysterious text messages that just say “help.”

I’m all about building trust, creating opportunities, and reminding young people that they’re more capable than they think (while also reminding myself where I left my coffee for the third time today).

Outside of work, you’ll find me trying to convince myself that walking the dog counts as cardio, failing to stick to a meal prep plan, and laughing at my own jokes — someone has to.

Working with this team is a mix of heart, humour, and a healthy dose of chaos — but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
